Ecological Footprint

I need 2.6 planets to support my lifestyle in China, my total footprint is 4.7. I think my footprint gets so big is because I ate so much animal based on products, used so much service and I did not use my shelter efficiently. Now I am intending to be a vegetarian to reduce my footprint value on the food section. And I am going to eat more fresh food instead of packaged food. My living place is getting much smaller than before, so it is gonna be more efficiency.

The 3 things I would do to make a difference with Global Warming are:

  • Use efficiency transportation or do not use transportation in my daily life

  • Shut off and unplug all electronics when I'm leaving home

  • Recycle papers, pop cans or batteries

Will,

Eating animal products does make a big difference. However, if you eat meat that is raised locally, it cuts down on transportation costs and helps reduce emissions into the environment.
